lunar eclipse

so did everyone catch the lunar eclipse? super cool. it started just after i got off work so i hurried home and got out my camera. i headed to the top of skinners butte, an easy drive in the middle of town, to get the best view not obstructed by trees. there were already tons of people there, but i was able to get these great shots. and a few of eugene by night.
quick question... is the lunar eclipse something that the whole world sees? or is it only a hemisphere thing? any one know?

Great pics! I was watching through Jake's binoculars.

FYI - This one could be seen in the Central Pacific, Americas, Europe and Africa - so it looks like most can usually see it, but no everyone at once. Those on the underbelly (ie. Australia) were out of the line of sight. Interesting stuff.

Hey Kelly, I know I only met you once at your wedding, but I found your blog through Bryce's, and was so excited that you guys had already found ours! I love this whole blogging world. I loved looking at your pictures of your trip to New Zealand and Figi. It looks like it was amazing. We just got back from Hawaii, but your pictures made me want to go there next time. I'll have to ask you about the details when we save up some money again :). Tell Justin I said hi and good luck finishing up law school.
