Merry Chirstmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone. i hope all is well and that wherever you are, it is great.

we are in auckland, new zealand getting ready to head to fiji tomorrow night. we have been having the best time and i cant wait to see everyone. much love to all.

countdown continues

ok, you are probably getting sick of this by now, but i just cant help myself. we only have 4 more days untill we leave. i must admitt, getting ready for this has been quite stressful because we have to also prepare our house and lives for an entire month of not being at home. but then the idea of sitting on white sandy beaches and tropical weather makes everything worthwhile.

in an effort to get things done, justin and i, along with our good friends the parkers, spent saturday trying to get our christmas cards done. so we went to alton baker park to snap some shots, and i got to let out my inner photographer. it was such a blast to shoot this family. they boys are so cute. we were only there an hour, and had it been warmer than 40 degrees, we might have stayed longer. but here's some of my favorite shots.

disaster in paradise

so today isnt quite as exciting as the previous posts. apperently there is a category 4 cyclone over the islands of fiji right now, causing flooding, landsides, and huge winds. already 12 people have died and others are still missing. many of the fijians homes have been distroyed in the 120 mph winds. This trip has been justin and mine honeymoon to new zealand and fiji. I never thought i would say this but i wish we had just a little bit more time left on the countdown. but needless to say we still have 7 more days untill we are scheduled to leave.

this is what makes my day. a sweet note from my hubby reminds me why i love him so much. when we were in college we used to leave notes on each others cars when we would find it in the parking lot. now we have resorted to emails as we are both on the computer all day. oh how i love the ways he lets me know i am his one and only.
